AW: What is the proudest moment of your career so far?

YH: Being inducted into the President's Circle. This Circle recognises and rewards an elite group of exceptional sales performers. Being recognised for using my capabilities to offer insights into market developments and enhancing clients' experience whilst making a meaningful contribution to the organisation's revenue lines has been a proud moment.

AW: What inspired your decision to be in the financial industry?

YH: The financial industry is a dynamic industry. Change is the only constant. With change comes the opportunity for continuous learning and innovation. I had a desire to be a part of an industry that encourages creativity and problem solving while being able to positively impact people's lives.

.

AW: What is your go-to for motivation?

YH: A motivational quote from Theodore Roosevelt which says, "Believe you can and you're halfway there." When new assignments and projects are to be undertaken it is in having the belief and faith that it is possible before even beginning that gives the impetus to propel, even in the face of adversities, to the end.

AW: What advice would you give young professionals who would want a career in the financial industry?

YH: The financial industry is challenging; however, once you have a clear vision and are deliberate in taking the required steps to enter the industry, you can have a rewarding career. Success in the industry requires passion, agility, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to succeed. These allow you to see all challenges as surmountable.

AW: What is the most important professional advice you have received?

YH: Integrity once lost can never be regained. Being ethical in the financial industry is extremely important in building trust, which is the foundation upon which client relations are built.
