Get firmer breasts with exercise

BY KIMBERLEY HIBBERT

EVERY woman wants firm, supple breasts, but truth is, not every woman’s desire for a firm bosom will come naturally.

The desire for firm breasts has led many women under the knife, but according to Gisel Harrow, personal trainer at Gymkhana, exercise can help to lift and firm the bosom, therefore surgery is not always the best option.

“Exercise is no doubt great for many reasons and has vast amounts of health benefits. Firming and tightening is one of the great benefits of exercise, and exercise can in some way help to lift and firm the boobs,” she said.

But in order to gain results, Harrow said one should always remember that as with any exercise regimen, consistency is key.

Below she states some of the exercises that may help to lift the breasts.

1. Push-ups

Harrow said getting on all fours, you should ensure your palms are slightly wider than your shoulders and keep your feet together. She said to lower your body and chest until they are almost touching the floor, then return to your starting position. Do three sets of 10 reps.

2. Dumbbell chest press

According to the personal trainer, to correctly execute this move, you should lie on your back on a bench. “Lower the dumbbell to the side of the chest then press upwards. Do three sets of 12 reps.”

3. Dumbbell flies

This, according to Harrow, involves lying face upward on a bench. With your elbows wide and slightly bent, Harrow said to lower the weights until they are even with your chest, keep the bend, and press upwards. Do three sets of 12 reps.

4. Dumbbell incline press

“Lie facing upwards on an incline of 15 to 30 degrees. Lower your weight to the side of your chest and then press upwards. Do three sets of 12 reps,” Harrow said.
