Does everyone deserve a second chance?
A relationship is somewhat like a roller-coaster ride – it has its ups and its downs. But sometimes the downs can be overwhelming, worse if one partner’s mistake destroys trust in the relationship. While some things can be repaired and are easily forgiven, some are not.
In this week’s All Woman, motivational speaker Marie Berbick urges women not to be too quick to throw in the towel when their men make mistakes. So does everyone deserve a second chance to make things right?
Alpha:
Not everyone is even worthy of a conversation about having a second chance.
Candice:
Sometimes a second chance only makes things worse, because being around the person can be a constant reminder of what they did wrong, and it only leads to anger and resentment.
Andrew:
I think that some people can get a second chance depending on what they did wrong.
Rohan:
None of my exes would get me to give them a second chance. A second chance at what? One time, and that’s it. If you made a mockery of our relationship once, why should I give you a chance to do it again?
Opal:
It depends on what they did, but I’m an open person, so I don’t think you should just cut off a person because of a mistake. No one is perfect and we all would like for someone to give us a second chance.
