Fornication and you
Sex is forbidden in the church to those who are unmarried. Many persons however are of strong belief that this fornication rule has been used just as a means for the church to exert control. How sinful is this sin?
Chantae:Fornication is sex before marriage and I agree with the ban not because I am Christian, but I see the value in it. It protects you and it preserves your body for the one who deserves you. If it wasn’t for this, I probably would have had sex a million times with the different men I have dated for the last several years. I am a strong believer.CH:Well, the church has taught us that sex before marriage is sinful. But I think it depends on the circumstances. I am not saying I don’t believe in it, but if I am in a relationship, it will be difficult to fall in love and not desire to have sex. If I am casually dating, it is okay, but in a serious relationship, that is most difficult to shut down.DC:I don’t believe in it. It is a man-made rule and it is rubbish. How can a man go without sex and marry a woman he has never been with intimately? What if you and that female are not intimately compatible?Dainty K:I’ve got to have sex with any man I am with because at the end of the day, it all comes down to sex.KF:I believe in abstaining.
