Cleopatra’s fashion story
PORTMORE, St Catherine was the location for the shoot on May 18, where model Cleopatra Whyte would stun in a few key designs in poses conceptualised by photographer Orville Spence.
The first piece, avant-garde, symbolised a black queen in red, from designer Tonia S.The second piece, a white dress, was inspired by the “trash the dress” tradition that some brides do after their wedding. From the beach to the shore, this young queen would use fashion to inspire the small team of Spence, his assistant, and the make-up artist who were on hand to witness the moment.
