Signature Sigma Run gear to help raise funds for 2018 beneficiaries
SAGICOR Foundation has turned things up a notch for this year’s 20th-anniversary staging of the Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run with the introduction of a trendy line of branded athletic gear and other memorabilia available for purchase from its Sigma Run Pop-Up Store. This year’s Sigma Run will be held on Sunday, February 18 under the theme “20 years of running for a purpose”.
The items for sale form part of the overall efforts by Sagicor to help raise funds for its 2018 Sigma Corporate Run beneficiaries — the Spanish Town Hospital Neonatal Unit and the St Christopher’s School for the Deaf. The target for this year’s event is $50 million.
The store features a wide selection of gear for fitness enthusiasts, as well as items for people who wish to support the cause. Popular items include workout apparel for men and women, water bottles and tumblers, race day T-shirts, light-up shoelaces, lunch bags and cell phone armbands.
The Sigma Run Pop-Up Store was first launched by Sagicor team members last October, and the items were a hit. Since then the store has “popped up” at the Jamaica Food & Drink Festival’s Meet Street event held at the Waterfront, downtown Kingston, and at business places in the New Kingston area.
With the Sigma Run Pop-Up store, members of the public can feel more involved in the collective effort to raise funds for a good cause, while looking cool, fit and trendy.
