General Elections: Dawes wins in St Catherine South Eastern

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The People’s National Party’s (PNP) Alfred Dawes has won the St Catherine South Eastern seat in the 2025 General Election, based on preliminary results.

Dawes tallied 7,754 votes while the Jamaica Labour Party’s (JLP) Robert Miller secured 7,187 votes. Kaycian Radcliffe of Jamaica Progressive Party secured 64 votes.

In 2020, Miller defeated PNP’s Colin Fagan with a majority 54.35 per cent of 12, 564 votes casted.
