Jahunique awaits break
Up -and-coming reggae singjay Jahunique is confident his latest single Need Love will give him his big break.
Produced by J Mix Records, Need Love is slated to be officially released in the next two weeks.
He said the feedback to the promotion is encouraging.
“The streets love it a'ready. They love the positive vibes it has,” he told Jamaica Observer. “Need Love is a song that is inspired by people who need love, and a reminder that without the Almighty love is absent.”
Jahunique, given name Dwayne Archer, has bigger dreams that surpass his humble beginnings in Spanish Town, St Catherine. He lists reggae superstar Bob Marley as his inspiration.
His other recent songs include Know it From the Start and Mi Nuh Waste Time.
