MAHJAH WORRIES
SOCIAL media influencer Mahjah Hype is currently in detention at the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Adult Detention Center in Georgia, USA. The comedian is facing charges for simple battery and felony charges of making “terroristic threats and acts”.
According to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, Mahjah Hype was arrested and processed on February 19, 2023 and remains in custody without bond.
Several efforts made to find out if the charges were in relation to a previous domestic abuse incident were unsuccessful.

In December 2020 his ex-girlfriend Latisha Kirby Farrell made public accusations that he physically assaulted her. Majah Hype was then arrested in January 2021.
At that timeMahjah Hype was slapped with two felony counts of kidnapping as well as terroristic threats and acts. He was also charged with simple battery, a misdemeanour offence. He was being held at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center in Canton, Georgia.
Weeks before that arrest, the comedian was hospitalised for an unknown reason. He later took to Instagram to thank supporters for the kind sentiments.
“I’m a star. Blessed and highly favoured!! Thanks to everyone who reached out and was there for me in a difficult time. God works in ways we won’t understand but trust his guidance,” he wrote to his 1.2 million fans while sharing old photos of himself performing on stage at the time.
