Malibu stays with the rhythm
Principal of Malibu Mean Team Ent label Dave “Malibu” Malcolm says his latest project — the Micah Riddim — is living up to its billing since its release earlier this month.
The project was officially released on June 6.
The rhythm features Munga Honorable, Jah Fiery, Da Jigga, Kamar-I, and Zidon Brooks.
Connecting with each artiste through various means, they all came together to add their unique touches to the projects, which has led to it being a success so far.
The Buff Bay, Portland native said the project took approximately one-and-a-half month to complete.
“I am expecting this to go global. I would love to be a household name. I see myself doing big things on a global scale; this is the vision I received from God,” Malcom said.
As a self-taught producer, Malibu has been honing his craft for a while and is aiming to reach higher heights as he continues to work on more productions with more talented artistes.
“My uniqueness comes from my passion and obsession for music,” he said.
