The 23rd staging of the Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards
Save the date, Thursday, September 29, 2022
The Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards sought 24 years ago, to make a statement that food in Jamaica was worthy of recognition. Our statement then, as it is now, is that there is a world of creativity and excellence in food. Indeed, the recent shuttering of global borders, as a result of the novel coronavirus pandemic turned our focus on maintaining optimum health and we became a lot more discerning about what we fuelled our bodies with and the importance of food security was suddenly top of mind.
For the industry, it was survival at all costs.
We are ready to once again applaud the efforts of the hundreds of thousands of people who work in the industry and who fed us through the worst of the nightmare, from which we are now just beginning to emerge.
It's the quintessential story of a project born of little more than imagination, vision and passion which has blossomed into one of the most visible events on the region's social calendar.
We invite you to join the Food Awards committee in its continued quest to shape, redefine and develop the industry at its marquee event which has blossomed into one of the most eagerly anticipated occurrences on the region's annual calendar.
