Margaritaville Montego Bay and Negril: A Cocktail Experience with Flair

Margaritaville Montego Bay reopened its doors earlier this year. What better time to check in than ‘Food Season’ on The Rock? We popped into Montego Bay on a Friday evening and slid into Negril on the Saturday, making for a good weekend jaunt.

‘Ville’ is the physical representation of it being 5 o’clock somewhere and their bartenders with their genial dispositions and a cocktail mix for whatever you feel like will make you forget time altogether.

It was mixology meets entertainment for us: Margaritaville Montego Bay and Negril deliver an experience that goes beyond just great drinks. The bartenders at both locations are more than skilled professionals — they are performers, engaging guests with bartending with flair, witty banter, and an infectious camaraderie that turns a simple cocktail order into a show.

From classic margaritas to inventive tropical blends, the variety of cocktails is impressive. Whether you prefer a smooth, fruit-infused rum punch or a bold, tequila-based concoction, the bartenders craft each drink with precision and personality. Their ability to mix flavours while keeping the energy high ensures that every sip reflects the enjoyable atmosphere.

Beyond the drinks, Margaritaville’s food menu is equally enticing. Do indulge in the Caribbean-inspired dishes, from curried goat and jerk chicken to fresh seafood, alongside American classics like burgers and quesadillas. Do follow the advice of the team on the Volcano Nachos. The combination of flavourful food, music, lively bartenders, and stunning beachfront views makes these locations ideal for unwinding with friends and family.

We found the experience quite relaxing as the atmosphere created by the Margaritaville team is meant to de-stress with fun games and expertly crafted cocktails. Margaritaville Montego Bay and Negril offer an experience that blends great drinks, great food, and even better company. Cheers to that!
