Crêpe Cravings & Quality Time at Tea Tree Crêperie

Daddy-daughter dates are always a highlight — and when my eldest returned for summer holidays with a craving for crêpes, there was only one place to go: Tea Tree Crêperie, now at their new location on Chelsea Avenue in New Kingston.

Despite a shift in location and perhaps even ownership, the experience remained familiar and delicious. I kicked things off with a soothing hot chai latte, while my girls opted for the frozen mint lemonade — zesty, refreshing, and perfect for the Kingston heat.

The food was the star of the afternoon. My eldest indulged in the Nutella & Banana Crêpe ($2,000) — a gooey, comforting classic. Meanwhile, my younger daughter and I chose the Smoked Marlin Crêpe ($3,300) — savoury, delicately smoked, and packed with flavour. It was a lovely balance of sweet and salty across the table.

Tea Tree continues to serve up charm and creativity in every dish. Whether you’re satisfying a sweet tooth or craving something savoury, this café delivers with consistency and heart.
