KINGSTON, Jamaica — Isolated showers and thunderstorms are to be expected across sections of most parishes on Tuesday afternoon as a tropical wave moves across the island, the Meteorological Service of Jamaica says.
The Met Service says a trough will remain across the island over the next few days.
According to the MET Service, isolated showers and thunderstorms are to be expected over the next three days mainly across sections of central and western parishes, while the south coast can expect windy conditions.
Meanwhile, the MET Service is monitoring potential Tropical Cyclone Two which is now approximately 680 kilometres east of Trinidad and has since caused schools to close and disrupted flights.
