Brandon King signs Caribbean Dreams endorsement deal
Cricketer Brandon King has signed with Jamaican Teas Limited (JTL) as brand ambassador for the tea maker’s Caribbean Dreams brand.
King signed a one-year contract with the company at its Bell Road office in Kingston recently.
JTL’s Marketing Manager, Kimone Meikle in her comments, said “Caribbean Dreams encourages consumers to ‘Be Good to you’, with affordable herbal teas, pantry products and spring water, which promote a healthy body and mind. King embodies our brand’s tag line daily in his professional and personal life. JTL is the largest tea manufacturer in the Caribbean and Brandon King, an avid tea drinker, is an ideal representative as brand ambassador.”
The newly appointed Caribbean Dreams ambassador said he is very happy to partner with the brand.
“The company embodies everything I believe in as a professional athlete and also in my day-to-day life. I’ve always used their products; so this synergy feels like a natural fit for me,” he said.
Twenty-eight year-old King is the second highest ranked International Club player for the West Indies. He represented Jamaica at all youth levels (U15, U17, U19) and by the time he was 22 years old, he was playing for the Jamaica senior team and was the leading batter in the country.
King was a member of the Jamaica Tallawahs team for the recently concluded Caribbean Premier League (CPL), ending the season with the fifth most runs. He is expected to play in the June 2024 International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 Cricket World Cup hosted by the West Indies and the United States.
