Byron Messia's ‘Talibans’ debuts on UK Singles chart

Talibans, a trending hit by rising newcomer Byron Messia has debuted on the UK Singles chart in the number 67 position.

The Jamaican born St Kitts-based artiste who recently signed with Interscope Records is quite upbeat about the latest turn of events in his career.

"I am happy and thankful. It's a great feeling to know that my music is being well received globally and I must say thank you to God, the fans and my team," Messia told OBSERVER ONLINE on Friday.

The official video for Talibans has so far racked up more than 21 million views on YouTube. The song was produced by Ztekk Records and EJ Fya.

"The song Talibans is about being able to defend yourself in any circumstance," said Byron Messia.

The 23-year-old Messia is currently in the island where he has been doing promotions on his music.
