KINGSTON, Jamaica - Jamaica’s World Championships relay medalist Charokee Young won the women’s 400m at Saturday’s Racers Grand Prix at the National Stadium, running 51.11 seconds in cool conditions.
Young, who is based in the United States, came on late in the race that was led by Jamaica’s Stacey-Ann Williams and Barbados’ Sada Williams in the early stages.
Stacey-Ann Williams was second in 51.34 seconds just ahead of American Kendal Ellis who ran a season’s best 51.37 seconds.
