Curfew imposed in sections of St Catherine North Division
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Homestead and 31 St John’s Road in the St Catherine North Police Division.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm, on Saturday, November 4 and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm, on November, 6.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
North – From the intersection of 41 Old Harbour Road travelling along an imaginary line for about 900 metres to 57 St Johns Road.
East – From 57 St Johns Road travelling along St Johns Road about 800 metres to the intersection of the Spanish Town Bypass and St John’s Road.
South – From the intersection of the Spanish Town Bypass and St Johns Road travelling along the Spanish Town Bypass and the roundabout about 900 metres to the intersection of the Bypass and Old Harbour Road;
West – From the intersection of the Spanish Town Bypass and Old Harbour Road at the round-about travel along Old Harbour Roundabout 800 metres to 41 Old Harbour Road at the beginning of the Northern Boundary.
During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises for 48 hours, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
