Demarai Gray back in ReggaeBoyz starting team against Canada
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Winger Demarai Gray is back in the starting line up as Jamaica face Canada in the return leg of their Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal game at the BMO field in Toronto on Tuesday evening.
The Al-Ettifaq winger sat out Saturday’s first leg which Jamaica lost 2-1 at the National Stadium in Kingston, their first loss to Canada at home in 35 years.
The Boyz must win Tuesday’s game by two clear goals to advance.
Gray, who replaced the injured Michail Antonio, is one of two changes as Damion Lowe returns to the centre of the defence in place of DiShon Bernard.
Shamar Nicholson, who scored for Jamaica on Saturday, retained his starting place as did midfielders Daniel Johnson, Joel Latibeaudiere and Bobby deCordova Reid.
