Gas prices, diesel up $0.25

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel effective Thursday, October 6, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $193.41 per litre while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $197.39 per litre.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $220.51 per litre after an increase of $0.25, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $227.50 per litre also up by $0.25.

Kerosene increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $217.93 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $60.43 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $68.02 per litre after an increase of $0.15.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
