Gas prices down $0.25, diesel down $0.25
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, May 26, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $206.89 per litre and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $211.90 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $210.95 per litre after a decrease of $0.25, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $213.68 per litre after a decrease of $0.25.
Kerosene also decreased in price by $0.25 and will be sold for $183.80 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $75.09 per litre down by $1.48 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $83.09 per litre after a decrease of $3.00.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
