Gas prices down $4.50, diesel up $3.06
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel effective Thursday, October 20, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $4.50, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $189.16 per litre while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $193.14 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $228.07 per litre after an increase of $3.06, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $235.06 per litre also up by $3.06.
Kerosene decreased in price by $0.25 and will be sold for $222.18 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $61.06 per litre down by $0.70 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $66.83 per litre after a decrease of $3.06.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
