Gun and ammo seized in snap raid in Grange Hill
Black and silver Roughneck 9mm double-barreled handgun with serial number erased along with two 9mm cartridges retrieved by the police.

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica -- An illegal firearm was seized by police in Grange Hill, Westmoreland on Tuesday night.

Police report that about 9:48pm, a team of officers was on high visibility patrol in Racecourse district in Grange Hill when the cops initiated a snap raid in the area.

During the operation, an open lot was searched and one black and silver Roughneck 9mm double-barreled handgun with serial number erased along with two 9mm cartridges was found close to an abandoned building in a clear plastic bag.

Investigations continue.
