Jamaica Premier League postpones Monday matches due to inclement weather
KINGSTON, Jamaica – As a Tropical Storm watch remains in effect for Jamaica, the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) has indicated that the double-header football matches scheduled for today have been postponed.
The US National Hurricane Centre had indicated that Tropical Storm Lisa is expected to pass south of the island today. This also means that tropical storm conditions could start to affect the island within 48 hours.

As such, the JPL stated that the matches between Harbour View FC and Mount Pleasant FA and, Arnett Gardens FC vs Portmore United FC have been postponed.
The rescheduled dates for the matches will be announced later.
