JPS single phase issue affecting NWC customers in Trelawny
TRELAWNY, Jamaica— The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers served by the Old Martha Brae Treatment Plant in Trelawny that the current disruption in their regular water supply is due to a Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) single phase power supply issue at the facility.
NWC said that affected areas include Falmouth, Rock, Cooper’s Pen, Royalton Hotel, Salt Marsh, Davis Pen, Wiltshire, Scarlett Hall, Martha Brae, Daniel Town and surrounding areas.
While asking for patience from its customers, the water company expressed regret at the inconvenience adding that full operations will resume as soon as the power supply issue is resolved.
