Man charged following shooting incident in Seaview Gardens

KINGSTON, Jamaica - A phone technician has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident in his community of Seaview Gardens in Kingston on Thursday, March 9.

Charged is 44-year-old Corie Drummond.

Reports from the Hunts Bay police are that about 10:15 pm, a man was walking along the roadway when he was pounced upon by Drummond, who opened gunfire hitting him.

The complainant was assisted to hospital, where he was treated.

Drummond was arrested and subsequently charged following a question and answer session in the presence of his attorney.
