McPherson seventh in men’s 100m final at Pan Am Games
SANTIAGO, Chile – Jamaica’s Odaine McPherson finished seventh in the men’s 100m final at the Pan American (Pan Am) Games on Tuesday evening.
He clocked 10.44 seconds.
Jose Alnardo Gonzalez of the Dominican Republic took the gold in 10.30 seconds, Brazil’s Felipe Bardi took silver in 10.31, and Guyana’s Emanuel Archibald, earned the bronze, clocking 10.31 as well.
Archibald is McPherson’s teammate at the GC Foster College of Physical Education and Sport.
Jamaica’s medal tally at the Pan Am Games remains three bronze. These are by cyclist Dahlia Palmer, and throwers Samantha Hall and Fedrick Dacres in the women’s and men’s discus throw events respectively.
