TRELAWNY, Jamaica— The Trelawny Police Division has recorded its first road fatality since the start of the year after a female passenger died as a result of injuries she sustained during an accident on the Coopers Pen main road in the parish Wednesday afternoon.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been ascertained.
The police confirmed the accident to OBSERVER ONLINE, but could not PROVIDE any other details.
Last year the parish recorded 31 road fatalities.
