#WorldChamps: Jamaica advances to Mixed Relay finals
Eugene, OREGON – 2019 Doha World Championship 4x400m Mixed Relay silver medallist Jamaica has advanced to the final of the event in Eugene, Oregon.
The quartet of Demish Gaye, Roneisha McGregor, Karayme Bartley and Tiffany James-Rose, who contested the event in Heat two, advanced to the finals in a season’s best 3:13.95 seconds for third.
The Dominican Republic crossed the line first in a season’s best 3:12.22, while Ireland secured the second place spot also in a season’s best 3:13.88 seconds.
Meanwhile, the United States (3:11.75), Netherlands (3:12.63) and Poland (3:13.70) were the top three finishers in Heat one of the event.
The final of the mixed sprint relay will be contested later today, July 15, at 9:50 pm.
