Xodus and Bacchanal Jamaica join forces for Carnival 2023
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Xodus and Bacchanal Jamaica, two of Jamaica’s biggest carnival bands, have joined forces for the 2023 Carnival experience.
Both bands made the announcement on their Instagram pages on Friday.
“Bacchanal Jamaica has been at the forefront of Jamaica’s carnival scene for over 20 years. Through innovation and adaptation to the changing carnival marketplace, we have been a major driving force in establishing Carnival in Jamaica as a world class entertainment product and series of events.
In 2022 Bacchanal Jamaica established a partnership with Xodus to streamline the road march execution and efficiency. This laid the foundation for what will be our latest innovation in 2023,” Bacchanal’s statement read. “Bacchanal Jamaica will deepen and expand the partnership with Xodus to create the best Jamaican carnival experience ever.”
The band, which is the brainchild of Michael Ammar Jr, said that through the unification, Jamaica’s Carnival experience will be greatly enhanced as both bands look to “restore the true spirit of carnival.”
OBSERVER ONLINE understands that come next Saturday, revellers will get to see the partnership come to life next Saturday when both bands are expected to showcase costumes for the 2023 Road March.
