KINGSTON, Jamaica— Former President of the Jamaica Table Tennis Association Godfrey Lothian has died.
Lothian reportedly passed away suddenly at his home today.
In a statement today, the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) extended condolences to the President of Greenwich Town FC and Lothian's family.
''For over 30 years, he had a passion for youth and grassroots programmes within the Greenwich Town Football community,'' the statement said.
President of KSAFA, Wayne Shaw, said that "Lothian was a community man who wanted to see the best for the youth. His contribution to football will be remembered".
''Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones and we honour his legacy,'' KSAFA added.
