Gas prices up $2.00, diesel up $2.62Wednesday, June 16, 2021
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, June 17, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $149.73 and $155.47 per litre, respectively, up by $2.00 and $2.03.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $142.63 per litre following an increase of $2.62 while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $2.37 and will be sold for $151.59 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $3.06 and will be sold for $119.12 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $60.47 per litre, up by $2.42 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $67.22 per litre after an increase of $2.98.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
