Police/JDF search for missing Manchester teen

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — The police in Manchester along with the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard are now trying to locate the body of a male teen who is suspected to have drowned yesterday.

Sixteen -year-old Christopher Wellington of Smithfield district in Cross Keys, Manchester went missing have after he reportedly went swimming at Port Kaiser.

According to reports, Christopher was at a river with family members about 2:45 pm when he allegedly went swimming in the adjoining sea.

He has not been seen or heard from since.
