Put an end to the lewd music, PMThursday, June 24, 2021
I don't understand Prime Minister Andrew Holness. He speaks about the reopening of the entertainment industry and some of the many things that will now be allowed to take place. But he said nothing about the lewd music and the violent lyrics that have a massive impact on society.
So, it looks like the prime minister doesn't care one bit about the complaints and the many letters that we have written about the violent music in society.
He needs to, or should have taken the matter in hand, and sent out a strong and stern message to all the culprits of this filthiness and command them to desist from playing lewd music with dirty lyrics in the upcoming dancehall events, parties, etc.
He should tell them to make their events clean and show some manners and respect to the public.
It's very sad that our prime minister has failed to put a stop to this filthiness which has been going on for years in our country.
