TR60 Climaxes at the GrangeSaturday, September 03, 2016
With a new date of September 16 set for the release of his first album in 10 years, Unstoppable, dancehall superstar Beenie Man — or Moses Davis, if you want to get technical — descended the imperial staircase of that much-talked-about Tryall Club villa belonging to philanthropists/ restaurateurs Theresa and Andrew Roberts, to find a coterie of fans below, who awaited the feel-good vibrations of his chart-topping discography. This event last Tuesday night was the inevitable conclusion to a series meant to signpost the advancement of Mrs Roberts’ September 1 natal day. As ‘The Doctor’ dispensed his vocal elixir, it snake-charmed the great hall to rock in tandem, especially the soon-to-be birthday girl who had evidently made up her mind to usher in her Big 6-0 with aplomb. SO ties a bow on a month at Hanover Grange as the beat went on and on for the summering lady of the manor.
