The promise of fireworks in the Turks and Caicos has now turned out to be nothing more than a grand wet squib worthy of grand old ladies smitten by delusions of grandeur. That's because the whole thing was a grand non-story anyway.

Prince Andrew has been reduced to a political pauper in the eyes of the electorate by that Supreme Court decision. The irony is that Mr Arthur Williams was favoured by the decision after being the author of those infamous letters. O what a tangled web...

The whistle-blower's dirty secrets
The one who was fired because he threatened to reveal the dirty secret that the haughty one has been hiding, is making it known to all who will listen that he is not going down alone. The problem is that he is as implicated as his boss and he is willing to be whistle-blower only after being turned down for the promotion.
