KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) is advising the travelling public in the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region (KMTR) that the company will be providing transportation service at the National Stadium after the Grace ISSA Boys and Girls Championships on nights of Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19.
The JUTC says that similar to last year, the Half Way Tree Transport Centre (HWTTC) will remain open to 12:00 midnight on Saturday the final day of Champs.
The extended opening hours of the HWTTC is to facilitate people who may need public transportation after attending post-Champs events in Half Way Tree and its environs.
Destinations that will be covered in the post-Champs JUTC service include Portmore, Spanish Town, Downtown Kingston, Harbour View and Bull Bay.
