Body of missing stevedore found
Scot Bamburry

THE body of missing Scot Bamburry, an employee of Kingston Wharves Limited, was found Thursday.

Bamburry reportedly fell from a ship in the Kingston Harbour earlier this week.

"It is with profound sadness that Kingston Wharves Limited (KWL) reports that the body of our missing colleague, stevedore Scot Bamburry has been recovered. This outcome is not the one we wanted, but KWL is grateful that his recovery will provide some measure of closure," Kingston Wharves said in a press release Thursday.

"We thank those who assisted in the search and rescue/recovery efforts, including the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard, the Marine Police and the private divers engaged by KWL that gave of their time and effort to find our missing colleague.

"This is a difficult time for our organisation, and an especially sad time for Scot's family. Our prayers are with them and we continue to provide support," the company said.
