Enjoy this dessert with your grandchildren
THE heat is on, and with the kids at home for summer break, it’s just fun and excitement time — enjoyment and entertainment for each and everyone. As we age, it is a joy to get the grand and great-grandchildren involve and active while there brains rest from their schooling. Cooking and baking with our kids is a form of bonding and time well spent.
Make this lovely, luscious dessert with your children, as they invite their friends over or video call them to share in their summer experiences. What better dessert to have when it’s down time and stay at home movie time, grab your ingredients and let’s get a move on it…
Caramel brownie cheesecake
Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup icing sugar ( more to your sweetness)
1 tbsp vanilla
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 cup caramel
3 brownie squares cut in small cubes to make 1 cup (more if desired)
2 cups whipped topping
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
2 cups cheesecake bits (left over cheesecake cut in cubes)
Directions:
1) Whip all ingredients together except last five, this is your cream cheese filling.
2) Get jar, clear cup or your pie dishes
3) Layer containers with cream cheese frosting, then caramel, then brownie, cheesecake cubes and pecan, lastly whipped topping
4) Continue layering until products are finished, end with whipped topping, topped with cherry and brownie, cheesecake cubes. Take your pictures and enjoy…
