Two men were arrested and charged with shop breaking and larceny, and malicious destruction of property, following an incident in Ragsville district, Guy's Hill, St Catherine, on Thursday, the Jamaica Constabulary Force said in a news release on Saturday.

Charged are 27-year-old Tafari Dockery, a taxi operator of Tivoli Gardens, west Kingston, and 20-year-old Shaquille Powell, otherwise called 'Shack', of Wellington Street, Denham Town also in west Kingston.

Reports from the Guy's Hill Police are that about 8:00 am, the complainant locked up his business place and left. Upon his return, he found that the entrance door to his establishment was broken. Four Lucky Draw Roulette boxes were also damaged and cash estimated at $80,000 was stolen.

An investigation was launched which led to Dockery and Powell being arrested and charged after a question and answer interview in the presence of their attorneys.
