Water nuff, problems nuffFriday, September 15, 2017
Water, water (30) everywhere! We are thankful for the rain (24) yesterday, and we hope that out little (10) catchment areas were able to get enough in storage.
But friends, while we rejoice wid di little rain, we have to be mindful of the suffering by tens of thousands by the fury of Hurricane Irma. I don't know if the extent of the damage by the powerful hurricane can be accurately estimated, but we hope recovery will be swift.
I wondered why that mongoose (14) moved so slow when it made its way across the road Wednesday night. Then a cock (28) did the same thing yesterday morning. It lucky I don't eat common fowl.
Myanmar (formerly Burma) is getting away with murder. Pun intended. The killing of members of the ethnic minority Rohingya population by rebels and the security forces should be cause for concern. Some were chased out and their houses set on fire (27), and while trying to make it into Bangladesh they are either killed by mines or drown. So sad.
You walk good.
