Three Angels commits to communityMonday, April 09, 2018
MANDEVILLE, Manchester — Late last month, Three Angels Pharmacy here marked the anniversary of a mobile clinic it rolled out a year ago.
Last year, proprietor Rohan McNellie had plans to offer free health care beyond the borders of Manchester.
With reports of more than 5,000 people in 65 communities across 10 parishes seen since the inception of the mobile clinic, the anniversary celebration at the Caledonia Road headquarters appeared to be very appropriate.
Speaking at the launch of the mobile clinic last year, McNellie said in his line of duty as a pharmacist he has seen people lose limbs or struck by ailments suffered strokes when they could have been prevented. This is what drives his passion.
With the support of a team including staff of the pharmacy, volunteers and sponsors, the mission is to take health care to those who need the service, wherever they are in Jamaica.
The anniversary customer appreciation day doubled as a heath fair.
