The Jamaica Observer's annual Applaud It! lunch series is back!

The first sitting took place on Monday, November 13, when 16 Avondale Preparatory School students joined Applaud It! conceptualiser and Senior Associate Editor, Lifestyle and Social Content Novia McDonald-Whyte, Jamaica Observer Managing Director Dominic Beaubrun, and Observer Deputy Managing Director Natalie Chin in the Jamaica Observer boardroom for the observance of an almost decade-long tradition.

The students — from grades four, five, and six — enjoyed a three-course meal prepared by multi-award-winning Chef Jacqui Tyson and her team.

Applaud It! is a week-long initiative that provides a unique opportunity for industry leaders to meet the next generation exactly where they are at and guide them through an awesome experience that exposes them to critical social and dining skills.
