Top school hit hard by disqualifications

UPWARDS of a dozen male athletes from one major St Catherine school have been ruled ineligible for next week's 102nd staging of the ISSA Grace Kennedy National High Schools Championships.Observer this morning that no birth certificates had been tendered for the athletes which he said were in all three classes.

It was confirmed this morning that the title aspirations of the school, a two time Boys Champs winner, went up in smoke after it was ruled that a number of athletes, including medal winners from last year, were not properly registered.
