1. KOBE LAWRENCE — CLASS ONE SHOT PUT AND DISCUS

Undoubtedly, Lawrence is Calabar's highest profile athlete at the meet. World Under-20 silver medallist in the shot put, he is a cut above his peers here and his season best 19.86m is odds on to win gold here. He has been awesome also in the discus and has only lost once this season in the event, and with his best of 61.55m in the event, he should win and close out a throwing double success for his team.

2. SHAQUANE GORDON — CLASS TWO 100m AND 110h

AN extremely talented sprint hurdler, Gordon has been outstanding all season in the 110m hurdles in his class with a leading time of 13.27 seconds. He is definitely on top of his game here and took a big scalp at the Carifta Trials in the Under-20 event after upsetting Class One favourite Demario Prince of St Jago for the win. His clash with St Elizabeth Technical's Tramaine Todd in the 100m should be a thriller. Despite a season-best 10.71 seconds, he looks set to go much faster and could surprise Todd, who is the leader here with 10.53 seconds done at the Carifta Trials.

3. BRYON WALKER — CLASS THREE 100M AND 200M

Walker could score a sprint double here despite being third ranked in the 100m with 11.14 seconds and number two in the 200 metres in 23.02 seconds.

4. CARLOS BRYSON — CLASS THREE 800M AND 1500M

Bryson is expected to add quality points to his strong Class Three group with season-best of 2: 03.38 minutes over the 800m where he is ranked second and 414.87 over the 1,500m where he has the fastest time amongst his peers.

5. LENWORTH CHUNG-POLE VAULT OPEN

Chung has been the best all season in the event, and once he repeats or better his season best of 3.90m, he will pick up the win here.
