HAVANA, Cuba (AFP) -- Cuba's foreign ministry said Friday it had summoned the US envoy to Havana to protest his "interference" in the country's internal affairs.
Since arriving in the job in November, Mike Hammer has been crisscrossing the communist island, meeting with dissidents and posting pictures of the encounters on social media.
In a statement, the foreign ministry said it had summoned Hammer to "once again draw his attention to his behavior, marked by interference and hostility."
