Russian held in Dominican Republic over disinformation network

SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (AFP) -- The Dominican Republic has detained a Russian citizen linked to a disinformation campaign that ran spying operations in Argentina, prosecutors said Friday. Dmitrii Novikov, 25, was detained at his home at Bavaro resort on the east coast of the Caribbean nation.
