Kingston taxi-man in hospital after car crash

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A taxi operator was today rushed to hospital following a motor vehicle collision along Molynes Road in Kingston this morning.

Police report that at about 11:00am a Toyota Corolla motorcar was traveling along Molynes Road when it collided with a Honda CRV sports utility vehicle close the intersection with Washington Boulevard.

"The driver was injured in the crash and rushed to hospital," a policeman on the scene confirmed.

The incident caused a minor traffic congestion along the normally busy thoroughfare.
