Granville look to secure St James title
GRANVILLE will look to secure the Hart Shield St James premier league football title, when they take a 2-0 lead into the second leg final at Ironshore today.
Granville beat Altobar with two goals in the last 15 minutes of play on Wednesday at the UDC field in Montego Bay. This match was considered to be Granville’s home game, and they secured and prepared the field from early in the day.
It remains to be seen if the team from Barrett Town can rebound in their home match. They had a player sent off for abusive language in the dying stages of the match.
Both Granville and Altobar had identical 3-2 aggregate wins over Catherine Hall and Seaview respectively in their two-way semifinals.
