Bounty Killer For MX III Lawn, Tonight

ACE deejay Bounty Killer and a host of other entertainers will be on show tonight at Negril’s MX III Lawn, when Evolution III Entertainment Corporation presents a big stage show dubbed ‘When the Smoke Clears’.

Bounty Killer will share top billing with Mr Lex, Wayne Marshall, Singer J, Danny English, Mark Ice, L A Lewis and Hotta Flex.

Fire Links, who is rated among the best music selectors in the island, will appear as guest selector.

Music will be provided by Mr Bike Evolution III.

The show begins at 9 pm.Holiday Circus in MoBay

THE International Holiday Circus from Mexico, which has been performing in Jamaica since July, is now in Montego Bay.

Since the Circus arrived in the Friendly City last Thursday, thousands of patrons have been flocking the Dump Up Beach to see top class performances from clowns, acrobats and animals.

The Circus leaves Montego Bay next Tuesday.

Miss Hanover Summer Queen Selected

NINETEEN year-old Cameille Smith was last Saturday night crowned the ‘Miss Hanover Summer Queen 2001’ at a function held at the Round Hill Sports Club in Hanover.

The former Herbert Morrison Comprehensive High School student won from a field of seven contestants and was adjudged the most talented.

In addition to taking home the Hopewell Progressive Foundation Trophy, Smith also received a cash prize of $10,000.

First runner up Tiffany Wright, walked away with a $5,000 prize for the best smile, while Rochelle Gourzong received the third place prize of $3,000.

New Entertainment Spot Opens

YET another entertainment spot has opened its doors in Montego Bay.

This time, it’s the Tropical Beach/Bar and Grill.

According to food and beverage services manager, Robert Paul, the new facility is ideal for weddings, cocktails, banquets and meetings.

“Since the facility opened recently, the response has been encouraging,” Paul told the Observer.

Every Friday, there is an ‘After Work Jam’, which starts at 6 pm for those of you who want to ‘de-stress’ after a long work week. And beginning next week, there will be a weekly Thursday night Carnival.

Beach Party Bash At Old Steamer

THE popular Old Steamer Beach in Hopewell, Hanover comes alive tomorrow with the staging of a ‘Beach Party Bash’ starting at 9 am.

Activities will include Bikini and Wet ‘T’ shirt contests, beer drinking and bun eating contests, football and volleyball.

Heat Wave Disco will provide the music.
